How to Convert iPhone Photos to JPG
First check whether your iPhone photo is already a JPEG. If it is HEIC, you need an application that can decode it before making a JPG copy. A website cannot bypass a missing native decoder just by selecting JPG as the output.
Check one existing photo first
Open HEIC to JPG below, select one photo and wait for the preview. FormatPlease processes the selected file on your device. If the preview succeeds, keep JPG selected, choose quality, convert and inspect the download before trying more photos.
Use a local export when the browser cannot read HEIC
If decoding fails, use a photo application that can already display the original. On a compatible Mac, Apple documents export to JPEG or PNG using Photos or Preview. Send the exported JPEG to the destination rather than changing the HEIC filename.
Future capture is a different setting
Apple documents Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible to capture new photos as JPEG on devices that offer the setting. This does not convert photos already in your library. Keep an existing original and export a separate copy when only one recipient needs JPEG.
Check dimensions and what the copy omits
FormatPlease accepts decoded images up to 24 megapixels, so a full-resolution 48-megapixel photo needs a smaller export first. The browser output does not retain original EXIF, GPS or Live Photo motion. Quality changes JPEG compression, not the pixel limit or the supported HEIC variants.
