SVG to JPG, explained
Create a JPG with a chosen background from a supported static SVG for an image-only form or document. The output has fixed pixels, so retain the vector source for later editing or larger exports.
Select a self-contained static SVG and inspect its preview.
Choose JPG quality and set a transparency background in Advanced Settings if needed.
Convert and check lettering and edge detail in the downloaded image.
Rasterizing a vector drawing
The browser renders supported SVG shapes into pixels before JPEG encoding. Paths and editable objects disappear from the output. Enlarging the downloaded JPG will not provide the resolution-independent behavior of the SVG source.
A deliberate background color
Transparent areas, including partially transparent edges, use your selected background. White is the default; choose Black or a custom hex color to match a dark page. Choose SVG to PNG if the receiving workflow supports transparent images.
The accepted SVG subset is restricted
Scripts, event handlers, styles, filters, foreign objects, external references and embedded images are rejected. A valid design export may still fall outside this subset. Export a simpler static SVG or a raster copy from its authoring application.
Fonts and pixel dimensions
Lettering may depend on fonts installed on the device. Outline text in the original application when exact lettering matters. Advanced Settings can resize the decoded raster; for a sharper large export, set the intended dimensions in the original SVG before conversion.
Inspect thin lines after JPEG encoding
Fine outlines and small labels can show JPEG artifacts even when the vector source is perfectly sharp. Compare a PNG if the destination accepts it. Increasing JPEG quality does not recover vector editability or add output pixels.
