    Format compatibility and settings

Keep your original FLAC recording before creating a delivery copy. MP3 output uses the LAME MPEG Layer III encoder. Choose CBR 128, 192 (default), 256 or 320 kbps, or VBR Standard, High or Best (LAME V4, V2, V0). Auto keeps 48 kHz sources at 48 kHz and uses 44.1 kHz for other rates. Use Mono for a downmix or Stereo for two channels. MP3 is lossy; retain the source recording.

    Local processing and practical limits

The audio engine loads when needed and processes one file at a time in a worker. No upload server is involved. Cancel stops the worker. Download and clear results to release memory. Tags and artwork are omitted.

Verify local processing. Read the audio software notices.
