Auto orientation · Automatic Browser-decoded images use the orientation supported by your browser. Check the preview before converting. TIFF orientation is applied to pixels before resizing.
Metadata · Remove metadata EXIF, GPS and other source metadata are not copied to the newly encoded file. Keep the original if you need these details. Keep metadata is unavailable because no current engine preserves it. ICC is color information, not privacy metadata; color-managed native decode uses sRGB and does not retain the source profile.

Images to PDF: common questions
How do Fit image, A4 and Letter differ?
Fit image uses one PDF point per decoded pixel before margins, so mixed-size photos can produce different page sizes. A4 and Letter use standard paper sizes. Auto orientation follows each image; Portrait and Landscape force a consistent page orientation without stretching the photo.
Does Fill crop my images?
Yes. Fit shows the entire image inside the margins, leaving spare space where necessary. Fill covers that area and clips excess edges. Small margins are one quarter inch and Medium margins one half inch. Transparent image areas and page margins appear white.
What happens to rotated photos and large batches?
The browser applies supported EXIF orientation before embedding the pixels. Images are processed sequentially for PDF output. The tool accepts up to 50 files, 64 MB each, 128 MB of combined input and 24 megapixels per image. Combining pages also has a 128 MB encoded-file budget; use smaller batches if necessary.
