BMP to PDF, explained
Convert BMP to PDF directly on your device. Put the decoded image into an image-based PDF for document delivery. Check palette colors and image orientation in older screenshots. A small compressed file can still decode into a raster that exceeds the image limits.
Choose BMP files and confirm the preview.
Keep PDF selected. Choose whether to combine the images.
Convert and download the PDF results. A combined batch downloads as one PDF.
Reading your BMP source
BMP input is decoded by the browser. Common bitmap files are supported, but specialized or damaged variants can fail. The converter works with decoded pixels rather than preserving BMP header fields.
Settings for PDF output
Keep Combine all images into one PDF checked for one document in file-list order, or uncheck it for individual PDFs. Drag rows or use the arrow buttons to reorder. Choose Fit image, A4 or Letter, orientation, margins and Fit or Fill. Transparent areas use your chosen background (white by default); change it in Advanced Settings.
Dimensions in BMP to PDF
Choose Fit image for a page based on the decoded pixel dimensions, or A4 or Letter for standard paper. Auto orientation follows each image; Portrait and Landscape force the page direction. None, Small and Medium margins are available. Advanced Settings can resize before embedding if you need fewer source pixels.
What survives the conversion
Original mode embeds eligible JPEG/JFIF data directly after stripping metadata when no resize, orientation or color conversion is needed; other Original paths embed decoded pixels as PNG. Optimized mode re-encodes pixels as JPEG at the chosen quality. Original does not restore earlier JPEG losses. Fit image maps one source pixel to one PDF point before margins. Standard paper sizes scale the image; Fit keeps it whole and Fill crops excess edges. The result contains no OCR or selectable text and does not retain original layers or vector editability. Check palette colors and image orientation in older screenshots. A small compressed file can still decode into a raster that exceeds the image limits.
Batch processing and device limits
Choose up to 50 files, each at most 64 MB, with 128 MB of combined input. Images must fit 24 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side. PDF encoding runs sequentially; combining the encoded pages uses a separate worker with a 128 MB input/output budget and 50-page limit. Source metadata is not copied. Use smaller batches on memory-constrained devices.
