Delete PDF Pages: common questions

Are page numbers the printed page labels?

Page numbers are positions in the PDF, starting at one. Printed labels, cover pages and Roman numerals can differ from these positions.

Does this preserve document quality?

Page edits copy PDF objects rather than rendering the pages as images. Text and vector artwork remain, but document bookmarks, forms, metadata and digital signatures are not guaranteed to survive. Review the exported document.

Can I use a password-protected PDF?

Encrypted or damaged documents are rejected with a readable error. Open an encrypted PDF with its password and export an unencrypted copy first. No password bypass or repair is offered.
