Three steps to your AIFF

Audio quality
Saving decoded audio as WAV, FLAC or AIFF does not restore detail already lost in the source. It avoids another lossy codec stage.
Format compatibility and settings
MP3 input accepts MPEG Layer III CBR/VBR. Decoding removes tags and artwork and cannot restore detail lost by the original encoder. AIFF output uses big-endian 16/24-bit PCM for compatible audio editors. AIFC and compressed AIFF variants are excluded. WAV-to-AIFF changes the container and byte order; original rate/channels and sufficient bit depth preserve samples.
Local processing and practical limits
The audio engine loads when needed and processes one file at a time in a worker. No upload server is involved. Cancel stops the worker. Download and clear results to release memory. Tags and artwork are omitted.
Verify local processing. Read the audio software notices.
