Audio quality
Original sample rate and channels preserve the supported PCM samples. For WAV/AIFF output, choose a bit depth at least as high as the source. Changing sample rate, channels or reducing bit depth changes the samples.
Format compatibility and settings
Input must be standard mono/stereo 16/24-bit PCM AIFF; compressed AIFC is not supported. FLAC compresses PCM losslessly. Compression level changes storage size and encoding time, not fidelity. Check FLAC support in the receiving player or editor.
Local processing and practical limits
The audio engine loads when needed and processes one file at a time in a worker. No upload server is involved. Cancel stops the worker. Download and clear results to release memory. Tags and artwork are omitted.
Verify local processing. Read the audio software notices.
