Audio quality
This output uses lossy compression. Converting between lossy formats may reduce audio quality. Keep your original recording.
Format compatibility and settings
MP3 input accepts MPEG Layer III CBR/VBR. Decoding removes tags and artwork and cannot restore detail lost by the original encoder. OPUS output uses an Ogg Opus container and 48 kHz PCM. Other input rates are resampled. It suits compact speech/music delivery when the recipient supports Ogg Opus.
Local processing and practical limits
The audio engine loads when needed and processes one file at a time in a worker. No upload server is involved. Cancel stops the worker. Download and clear results to release memory. Tags and artwork are omitted.
Verify local processing. Read the audio software notices.
